Corridor of Lights

At dusk, illuminated seagull silhouettes and more than 20,000 tiny white lights will guide you through Downtown Shediac.

We'll light the way for your trip downtown with our "Corridor of Lights". At night, thousands of tiny white lights are turned on, in the downtown creating an atmosphere of fun and merriment. The nautical theme of the area is accentuated with lighted seagulls on buildings. Small lighthouses have been installed in strategic areas of the downtown; even our signage reflects the region's nautical theme.

Shediac's downtown is conisdered one of the most vibrant buisness areas in New Brunswick. In 1994, our downtown was presented with an Award for the most beautiful downtown.
